Một cành mai vàng báo Xuân sang, cặp bánh chưng, bánh tét xanh đậm, cặp tranh Tết đỏ tươi và đĩa trái cây ngũ sắc hòa với hương trà, hương trầm lảng bảng… tất cả, tôi gọi đó là “mùi Tết” đã làm thêm ấm cả không gian thường ngày.

Một khoảng lặng để gia đình cùng nhau xum vầy tiễn năm cũ và đón chào năm mới với nhiều điều tốt lành đang chờ phía trước.
Một khoảng lặng để nhớ về ông bà, tổ tiên, những người ở quê nhà, với niềm nhớ mong da diết, mong được gần hơn, kết nối yêu thương. Thêm một lần hẹn, Xuân, sau con sẽ ở nhà.

These days, the colors and scents of Tet are soaking into everything. You can feel the vibrant spirit of Lunar New Year in Asian markets and within the Vietnamese community around us. A branch of yellow apricot blossoms announces the arrival of spring. A pair of deep-green bánh chưng and bánh tét. Bright red New Year prints. A five-fruit tray glowing with color, blending with the gentle aroma of tea and drifting incense… I call it all the “scent of Tet.” It makes even ordinary spaces feel warm and alive.

A quiet pause for families to gather, to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new one with hopes and blessings waiting ahead. A quiet pause to remember our roots-our grandparents, our ancestors, and loved ones back home-with a deep and tender longing.
A wish to be closer, to stay connected in love. And once again, a promise: next spring, I’ll be home.
